As soon as you step into El Nactional you sense the Latin American inspiration with giant cactuses and plants hanging everywhere from the ceilings – so enchanting. The floor entrance is filled with colorful printed tiles, just like the plates the food is served on. Very Instagramable – if you come early that is, cause the lighting here is really dim (and cosy).

On the menu you’ll find nachos with guacamole, Arepa which is a sort of cornbread, cod ceviche and prawn skewers, to name a few of my favorites.  The kitchen is open which is another detail that makes you feel right at home.

The atmosphere at El Nactional is overall very casual and it’s the perfect place for a date, a family dinner or a night out with the girls – so any occasion really 🙂 I’ve already been here three times, this Thursday being the latest, and I can’t wait to comes back. I’m especially looking forward to the Piña Colada that’s served in a look-a-like coconut. So cheesy – I love it!
