Guess where I am right now? I’m sky high on my way to New York to supervise a shoot with it-girl Olivia Palermo. Tough job – I know, but somebody’s gotta do it!

It’s been a year since I was last in The City and back then I hadn’t launched Food Before Fashion, so I’d completly forgotten to share all the great places I miraculous managed to try during the 48 hours I was there – and one day was even spent styling super model Helena Christensen. Anyway, better late than never…

Here’s five fab recommendations, if I might say myself:

The Fat Radish

A cosy and rustic farm-to-table restaurant located on the Lower East Side. Even if you’re a hardcore meat lover, I challenge you to try it – it’s amazing!

17 Orchard St, NY 10002

Little Park

This little oase in NoHo focuses on sesonal ingredients. The food is super delicious and very delicate presented, with lots of small dishes that are easy to share.

85 West Broadway, NY 10007

Café Gitane

A classic located in the Nolita area that I almost always visit when I’m in NYC. It’s super laid back and the perfect place for a casual breakfast, lunch or a glass of wine.

242 Mott St, NY 10012

The Egg Shop

I found this place in Little Italy through Victoria Secrets Instagram. Apparently the Angels eat here, so naturally I had to test it myself and I wasn’t disappointed. Egg’celent concept!

151 Elizabeth St., NY 10012

Two Hands

If you’re a breakfast kind of person, this is a good place to go especially, if you’re lost in China Town. I can recommend their freshly squeezed juices and their breakfast burgers with eggs and avocado.

164 Mott St, NY 10013

I’ve got exactly 48 hours in NYC again, but unlike last time where I had my boss Cecilie with me, I’m on my own, so I probably won’t experience as many places. But I will keep you updated as I go along and not some time next year – promise!
