My homemade nuts are nothing less than incredible and I have the fans to prove it aka. my friends.

To be fair it’s actually my mum who introduced me to the recipe, but I’ve copied it a million times since, so it’s sort of become my signature snack.

Here’s what you need:

  • Unsalted nuts
  • Fresh Rosemary
  • Sea salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Coconut sugar
  • Butter

What to do:

For a large jar of nuts I used 3 bags of nuts (about 150 g each) with almonds, cashew and pecan nuts, but basically you can use any kind of nuts – these three are just my favorite.

Roast the nut’s in a pre heated oven of 200 degrees for 10 min.

Meanwhile, place 1/4 of a pack of butter in a bowl and heat it in the oven. Once it’s  melted pour it into a large clean bowl and add the other ingredients; a tea spoon of  sea salt, cayenne pepper, coconut sugar (or ordinary sugar) and a handful of fine copped rosemary.  Last but not least, add the roasted nuts and mix all the ingredients together in the bowl, so the nuts end up all glued in the mass.

Pour the mix unto a baking pan and heat the mass of nuts for another 5 min. When they’re done, leave them to cool of for half an hour before going nuts!!!
